How to Book Our Studio for Your Next Shoot

Booking our loft isn’t a matter of picking a slot on a public calendar. Since the space is shared with our nail studio, availability depends on our appointment schedule, so rentals work through a direct inquiry instead. You tell us what you need, and we get back to you with availability and pricing based on the details you provide. It’s a quick process, but it goes faster when your first message gives us enough to work with.

What to include in your inquiry

The more specific your inquiry, the faster we can confirm whether the space works and quote you accurately. When you reach out, try to include:

  • Date and time. Include your preferred date plus a backup if you have flexibility, and roughly how many hours you’ll need, including setup and teardown.
  • Type of shoot. Let us know if it’s a photo shoot or a video production — this affects how the space should be set up and what you might need from us.
  • Expected group size. A solo content creator has different space needs than a crew of five. Give us a rough headcount.
  • Equipment needs. Tell us if you’re bringing your own lighting, cameras, or props, and whether you plan to use our in-house sound system or projector.

You don’t need a fully locked-in plan to reach out — a rough idea of the date, format, and group size is enough to get a useful response back.

What happens after you reach out

Once we have your details, we check them against our nail appointment schedule and get back to you with:

  • Availability for the date and time window you’re asking about, or alternative times if your first choice is booked.
  • Pricing based on the length of your booking and what you’ve described.

From there, it’s a conversation — if the timing or scope changes on your end, just let us know and we’ll adjust the quote accordingly. There’s no online payment or automated confirmation step; everything is confirmed directly with us before your booking date.

Tips for a smooth shoot day

A little planning ahead of time makes shoot day easier for everyone:

  • Build in setup and teardown time. If your inquiry only accounts for shooting time, your crew may feel rushed moving gear in and out. Factor load-in and load-out into the hours you request.
  • Confirm access details ahead of time. Ask about parking, entrance, and arrival logistics when you’re finalizing your booking, not the morning of, so there are no surprises when your crew shows up.
  • Bring what you need. Beyond the sound system and projector already in the space, plan to bring your own lighting, backdrops, and props — confirm with us in advance if you’re unsure what’s on hand.
  • Communicate changes early. If your group size or timing shifts after you’ve booked, tell us as soon as you know so we can adjust availability and pricing before shoot day.
